Services offered by Western Union in Brazil
In Brazil, we work with more than 12.000 service points, including stores and corresponding networks, as Riachuelo, Gazin and the banks Bradesco and Banco do Brasil. In addition to the national and international money transfer service, we sell the major currencies in cash and prepaid cards of trip that can be easily loaded and reloaded through physical stores, e-commerce www.wucambio.com.br and WU application exchange (iOS and Android). For the exchange, some stores offer the delivery service.
Since 1997, Western Union services are available in Brazil through a network of authorized agents offering the service on behalf of Western Union Canada, a company of Western Union Group. After authorization to operate as a financial institution granted by the Central Bank of Brazil, in May 2011, through the Bank’s Western Union Brazil SA, together with Western Union Brokerage Exchange SA and other banking correspondents, Western Union can provide a complete portfolio of products and services to the Brazilian market, including domestic money transfer service.
