How to make International Money Transfers
Service provided by Western Union through their own or allied offices, allowing users to send and/or receive money in more than 500 agencies located in more than 200 countries and territories, all in a fast, easy, convenient and highly reliable way.

1. Get the necessary documents
In order to be able to make the transfer, you will need to present some original identification documents like:

The attendant in the Western Union store will request some information on the person receiving the money.
• Address and phone number
• Receiver’s full name
• Amount to be sent

Check the data provided and provide the funds – Value + charges *. * There may be incidence of local taxes.
4. Processing and receipt
Check the values and confirm with the Western Union attendant and wait for the transaction processing. Once completed, sign the receipt and keep a copy.
5. Notify the receiver
Provide the receiver with the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number), allowing him to receive the money in a Western Union store.

Send and receive money by phone

Important: Service rates were set by Western Union in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code, Resolution 3919 of 25/11/2010, Circular Letter 3349 of 31/10/2008 and Circular 3,512 of 25/11 / 2010 of the Central Bank of Brazil.
